A reasonable season with only the loss of 1 day in December due to snow.

A Severe Weather ban was imposed for 4 Weeks (lifted on 7th January 2011)
January: Only 10 gun days with 14 Woodcock only in the bag. Average of 1.4 per gun
The past season was nothing to write home about, we really struggled from the first outing. We believe that this was a result of last seasons (2009/2010) severe weather (remember there was a 2 weeks ban in December) Plus the Hot Summer of 2010 in Eastern Europe & Russia which did not help matters. Compounded with the 4 week Shooting ban in December 2011, this reflected badly on the overall season's totals. Both our Northern & Southern venus produced equal amounts of game over the season.
Lets hope for a better season in 2011/2012.
