WILD BROWN & SEA TROUT FISHING
The quality of Sutherland's wild brown trout fishing is second-to-none and Park House Sporting offers fishing on three excellent lochs:

Loch Craggie: One of the top wild brown trout lochs in Scotland. Average weight of fish around 1lb, with several of 2-3lbs taken each season.

Loch Dola: Average weight around 3/4lb, but with fish twice this size also taken.

Loch Tigh na Creige: Average weight 3/4lb with many fish of over 1lb taken each season. 

  Availability: Day lets, with ghillies and/or tuition by prior arrangement. Prices on application. 

Tackle: Single-handed fly rods and traditional wet and dry fly patterns in various sizes. 

Note: All trout fishing from boats and strictly fly. 

Brown Trout Season: 1 May-30 Sept (excluding Sundays) 

Sea Trout & Salmon: 1 boat available on Loch Hope (Middle Bay) from 1st June to 30th September 2008

SALMON FISHING | RIVERS SHIN, CARRON, CASSLEY, BRORA

SALMON FISHING
Beats of 3 or 4 rods are available on the Upper and Lower River Shin on weekly lets during the season (March-Sept). The Shin is a classic Highland river - full of character and with good runs of salmon and summer grilse. It belongs to the famous Kyle of Sutherland river system, which enters the sea on the east coast at Bonar Bridge and offers some of the best fishing in Scotland. Rods on two other rivers in this system, the Cassley and Carron, can also be arranged, plus on the Brora further up the east coast.

Ghillies and salmon fishing tuition are available by prior arrangement.
