What to See and Where to Go in Sutherland

Lairg is a small rural village situated in central Sutherland and is the ideal centre for exploring the North, East and West of the Highlands of Scotland.

Ferrycroft Visitor Centre - you can explore the many changes to Sutherland's landscapes from ice Age to present day - the future too! Forest walk through Ferry wood or enjoy the atchaeological trail over the Ord Hill.

Falls of Shin - watch the salmon leaping, take a walk through Shin Forest or relax in the restaurant and the shop complex.
